The seller operates the online store at wrappedstory.com (the "store"). These General Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern the rights and obligations of the seller and the buyer arising from a purchase contract concluded through the store.
2. Scope and legal framework
These Terms apply to contracts concluded at a distance with consumers and are governed by Slovak law, in particular Act No. 40/1964 Coll. (Civil Code), Act No. 250/2007 Coll. on consumer protection, Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on consumer protection and on distance and off-premises contracts, and Act No. 22/2004 Coll. on electronic commerce.
By placing an order the buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy and agree with them.
3. Products
The store sells advent calendars containing daily challenges, add-on packs and digital (printable) products. Rewards hidden behind the doors are supplied by the buyer; unless expressly stated in the product description, no rewards, gifts or consumables are included in the delivery.
Product photographs are illustrative. Small differences in print, colour and paper finish are possible and do not constitute a defect.
Some products are personalized — printed or assembled according to information the buyer provides (names, language, difficulty, theme, individual challenge texts, custom cards).
4. Ordering and conclusion of the contract
The buyer creates an order by selecting products, filling in the required details and confirming the order with the payment obligation button. The order is a proposal to conclude a purchase contract.
The contract is concluded when the seller confirms the order by e-mail to the address given by the buyer. The confirmation contains a summary of the order, the price and these Terms.
Pre-orders and Early Access items: calendars ordered during the Early Access phase are expected to ship in October/November 2026. The exact dispatch period for each product is stated on the product page. If the seller cannot deliver within that period, the buyer is informed and may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are stated in euros and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown separately before the order is confirmed.
Payment is made online by card or other payment methods offered at checkout, processed by our payment provider. The seller does not store full card details.
A tax document (invoice) is sent electronically to the buyer's e-mail address.
6. Delivery
Physical products are shipped by the carrier chosen at checkout within the European Union. Standard dispatch time is stated on the product page; for the 2026 launch, calendars are expected to ship in October/November 2026.
Digital products are delivered by e-mail or as a download link after payment.
International shipping: the store currently ships only to countries within the European Union. All prices include VAT where applicable; no customs duties or import charges are added at checkout.
The risk of damage passes to the buyer upon takeover of the goods.
7. Withdrawal from the contract
A consumer may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of taking over the goods (or of concluding the contract in the case of services and digital content), without giving a reason, in accordance with Act No. 108/2024 Coll.
Withdrawal can be made online using the "Withdraw from the contract here" function available on the withdrawal page of this store, or by any other unambiguous statement sent to the seller's e-mail or postal address. The seller confirms receipt of the withdrawal without undue delay.
The goods must be returned within 14 days of withdrawal. Direct return shipping costs are borne by the buyer. The seller refunds all payments received, including the cheapest standard delivery cost offered, within 14 days of the withdrawal, using the same payment method, unless agreed otherwise. The seller may withhold the refund until the goods are returned or proof of return is provided.
The buyer is liable for a decrease in the value of the goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functionality (e.g. opened calendar doors, used or written-on cards).
8. Personalized products — exception to the right of withdrawal
This product is made according to your individual specifications. Therefore, the statutory right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason does not apply to this product.
The exception for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized is expressly provided for in Section 19 of Act No. 108/2024 Coll. This notice is displayed again before payment for every personalized item, and the buyer confirms it as part of the order.
Non-personalized items in the same order (standard editions, add-on packs) remain fully covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Digital content supplied electronically: the right of withdrawal expires once delivery has begun with the buyer's express consent and their acknowledgement that the right will be lost.
9. Defects, complaints and warranty
The seller is liable for defects the goods have at takeover. The statutory liability period for consumers is 24 months.
Complaints are made by e-mail to info@wrappedstory.com with the order number, a description of the defect and photographs where relevant. The seller confirms the complaint immediately and settles it no later than 30 days from its filing.
Justified complaints are resolved by repair, replacement, a reasonable discount or a refund, in line with the Civil Code.
10. Alternative dispute resolution
If the buyer is not satisfied with the way the complaint was handled, they may ask the seller for redress. If the seller responds negatively or does not respond within 30 days, the buyer may file a proposal for alternative dispute resolution with an authorised entity.

The seller may amend these Terms; the version in force at the time the order is placed applies to that order.
These Terms are effective from September 2026.
