1. Controller

We process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection.

2. What we collect and why

Early Access / waitlist: your e-mail address, the audience you selected (couple, family, myself), your language and where you signed up. Purpose: to send you launch news and your welcome e-mail. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Quiz answers: the answers you give in the optional quiz and the recommended edition, linked to your e-mail if you already signed up. Purpose: to personalize your recommendation and to understand which editions to produce. Legal basis: consent / legitimate interest in product development.

Orders: name, delivery address, e-mail, phone, order contents, personalization details and payment status. Purpose: to conclude and perform the purchase contract and to meet accounting and tax duties. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligation.

Withdrawal requests: the details you enter in the withdrawal form. Purpose: to process your withdrawal and refund. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Support messages: whatever you write to us by e-mail. Legal basis: legitimate interest in answering you.

3. Who we share data with

We only share data with processors that help us run the store: our hosting and database provider, our e-mail delivery provider, our payment provider (card payments — we never receive your full card number), and carriers delivering your order. All of them process data on our instructions under data processing agreements.

Some providers may process data outside the EU; in that case transfers are based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We never sell your data.

4. How long we keep it

Waitlist and quiz data: until you withdraw your consent or ask for deletion, at the latest 3 years after the last interaction.

Order and accounting data: 10 years, as required by tax and accounting law.

Withdrawal requests and complaints: 4 years from settlement.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and local browser storage that are strictly necessary to run the store — remembering your language, your cart and whether you already signed up for Early Access.

If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to change your choice at any time.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any right, write to info@wrappedstory.com. We reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava, dataprotection.gov.sk.

7. Security and changes

Data are stored on secured servers with restricted access and encrypted transfer. Waitlist e-mails, quiz answers and withdrawal requests cannot be read by visitors of the website.
